“Malcolm has assisted our internal Property team on several lease renewal and acquisitions projects across Australia and New Zealand over the years. On every occasion, he has gone above and beyond in making himself available to the team and supporting us by providing and then executing a strategy that has delivered us excellent results. Malcolm’s ability to simplify and resolve complex issues and his use of detailed financial analysis has significantly aided our decision-making and helped us understand the full implications of our leasing commitments. Above all, Malcolm has always acted independently and put CPA Australia’s interests first.”
Justin Fitzclarence - Senior manager procurement and facilities, CPA Australia

Originally from Northern Ireland, Malcolm is a graduate of Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland, and holds a Masters degree in Business & Economics. He initially worked in the finance sector in both Australia and the UK, before moving into the London real estate market dealing with high net worth property investors in residential sales and development.

Malcolm has more than 19 years global experience working in multiple property classes providing strategic advice to both corporate occupiers and lessor’s. In addition to his extensive experience in real estate transaction management, he has a strong ability to understand and manage large and complex real estate portfolios.

Following his emigration to Australia in 2006, Malcolm spent five years representing a range of private, government and institutional landlords leasing office and retail accommodation. In 2012, he moved into corporate property as the National Commercial Transaction Manager for the National Australia Bank portfolio managing their commercial portfolio transactions nationally. Malcolm has vast experience in both small and large-scale lease restructures, renewals, relocations, rent reviews, lease disposals, sub-leasing, make good agreements and portfolio strategy planning, with an innate ability to recognise and meet the needs and requirements of corporate occupiers.
